My husband and I are moving to the east coast, we have two layovers on the way home.  We are taking a MAC flight out of here to Seattle.  When we get to Seattle I know that we have to recheck in our bags because of coming from overseas.  Does anyone know if we will also have to get our cat who will be in the cargo area and have to check him in again?  When I came here it was a non-stop flight so I havent had to deal with this situation in the past.  Thanks in advance.

We flew our dogs out after we arrived here, and the airline they flew on told us that even if we were flying them with us, they would be moved from flight to flight without us having to do it. But, thats not first-hand knowledge, since we havent actually flown them with us before...

I called and asked the airline, they said the same thing to us that they told you, the cat would get sent off on its own without us having to check them in. Did your dogs get here ok? I am nervous about having so many flights, hope he doesnt get lost!
