I'd appreciate if someone would answer my questions.  I'm wondering how big the fitness center on Negishi housing.  Do they offer aerobics classes?  Are there Personal Trainers you can hire at the gym?  Any info about the fitness center would be appreciated.  Thank you.

There is one personal trainer that I know of named Corie Tyler. The only info I have is that she's had many customers and in the summer she trains in the pool.(not mandatory, I'm sure)

As far as the gym...it's small but has 'enough'. It has treadmills, ONE elliptical, stair machines, bikes, and I think a rowing machine. It has weights, both free and machines. It also has balls, a place to stretch, and resistance equipment. Not really nice like the new gym, though.(Purdy) It's been a while since I've been in there, so maybe they got some new stuff, but that's unlikely. I don't like going there because to me if feels claustrophobic. I would recommend calling the Negishi MWR for available classes, or go there and ask. I didn't see anything on the CFAY website about classes.

There is a tiny kids area but it's in the same room as the cardio equipment. I personally don't like to listen to a screaming kid while working out. Hope this doesn't offend.

Corie is PCSing next month...I don't know if they have a replacement or if a personal trainer is willing to come out to Negishi from the Main Base.

The are 5 elliptical machines there. four treadmills and a few bikes. Free weights and machine weights. I love this gym cause no one is ever there and I work out a lone. There is two people that are trainers there a male and a female. I like it and no one ever brings kids there. I work out at 12;30 to2pm and 5;30 to 630 pm everyday but sunday for months and never once seen a kid there so I dont know what that other person is talking about.

Stephen-look at the dates. Those people have since left.
And the gym has been completely redone since that post a year ago with added trainers.
Things change quickly and people come and go very quickly, so always look at dates of posts.
Maybe you just don't go when there are kids around. Many moms like to go first thing in the morning. So maybe you are just not there at the same time. After lunch=nap time.
