Q: I have attended the modeling fair the past two years. Each time I am told to sign up at the Fleet and Family Services (FFSC), but at the event no one verifies who signedup. Why am I required to go to FFSC? What is the purpose? Thank you.

A: The purpose of having people come to the FFSC prior to the modeling fair is to educate them on the process used during the modeling fair and to obtain a relatively accurate number of individuals that will attend. The information and data helps us prepare, plan, and ultimately reduces issues and problems that arise at the fair. We have worked with CFAY PAO to have registration online on the FFSC web page to make it easier for people, especially returning applicants that are more familiar with what goes on at the modeling fair. Those not acquainted with modeling, modeling agencies and previous fairs have questions about what to expect. When people stop by we can get a better understanding and cater to their needs. Those that do not have the knowledge, proper paperwork and guidance will waste more valuable time when they come to the fair unprepared and are unable to successfully register with an agency.
