It is starting to be Kitten Season, so if anyone sees any kittens outside, however old, please send me a PM or call PAWS @ 243-9996. If we don't answer the phone, you can leave your number on there so we can get a hold of you, and we will try to call you back. But I am on here all the time, so a PM is probably more reliable to get a response quickly.

I am the new Kitten Coordinator, and if there are any kittens out there, we want to get them socialized as soon as possible and get them adopted. We are trying to help with the immense cat population. We would appreciate it greatly!

Just a little information about what we will do when we get kitten litters in:

We will evaluate the kittens, figure out how old they are, then I, as Kitten Coordinator, will call our kitten foster families to see if they want to have the litter. They will take care of the kittens, feeding them, teaching them to use the litter box, and being social creatures in general. Then, when they reach 12 weeks of age, we will take them to the vet to get their shots, and then they will go up for adoption! We will have a LOT of pictures of any litters we get in on the PAWS website http://pawsyokosukajapan.com/  , so check it out often!

PAWS is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 1530-1830 so come on in! We have cats and dogs and soon to be kittens!

We will be having more classes for kitten fostering if anyone wants to come, I will set a date eventually and update it here. It is the experience of a lifetime.

There are only 4 ATM, the post was more for people to let us know if they see any prego cats or any kittens running around, so we can get them.

I am a proud owner of a PAWS rescue cat. We got her for my middle daughter in 1999 and she is the most lovable thing around. Although she was not happy when I bought my wife a dog almost 3 years ago.
She is a great winter heater and just loves to snuggle, so thank you for continuing this important program.
