    Lol, well, let's see...

Rock Bar F**k Yeah --far enough away from the Honch that's it's not over run by Sailors, but still can get busy on weekend nights. Locals and Sailors both visit. It has a rock theme so you'll hear classic rock, grunge, punk, rock, etc when you visit which is nice from the usual music you'll hear in the Honch. And the owner is great, I don't know how many free lighters I've got from him, lol.

Hot Shots --used to be a "buy me drink" bar and is now a karaoke bar, but also just a good place to drink because it's not crowded. Bartender is sweet and free tequila shots on the weekends. (this is the Hot Shots behind the 7-11).

The Morrigan's --Great atmosphere for a bar directly across base. It's a total local and Sailor haunt, great selection of import drafts.... and well, just a nice place to have a great drink and sit and chill.

Pit Stop --It's a biker/hot road bar. The owner and bartender are hilarious, I just love to sit and shoot the s**t there.

Younger Than Yesterday --Is a really cool Jazz bar that Gaijin don't seem to wonder into. But they have a great drink list, very friendly staff, and awesome live ticket, half of them preforming for free. Please check this place out if you like to chill to live music, they were very happy to see us Gaijin there.

Every where else is give or take or a total s**t hole in the Honch, but I'm the kind of person who likes to sit and talk while sipping on a beer, occasionally doing a yummy shot. So if you wanna party and go clubbing, these places are not that.

Actually, the easiest way to explain it is put up the map I used for the "Girls Meet-up" the other day:

Where it says "Aka Oni" on the map, is the same building "Younger Than Yesterday" is located. It's the yellow sign... 3rd or 4th floor.
