Do any of you have experience with the salons around here and Japanese thermally straightening (basically permanently straightening curly hair)??  I have had it done in the states, and I am wanting to do it again here.

I've been here for 6 and I've been straightening my hair out in town every 8-10 months. I love it! The prices are resaonable and it really does last a while. The place I go to is called Tops and is located right outside the base. Good luck

Where is Tops? (I am sure that I have walked by it many times and didn't notice.) About how much does it cost here? Also, do you have to ask for something specifically (or do they speak a bit of English)?? I am worried that I will go there and they will just use the flatiron...
