The arena show "Walking With Dinosaurs" is coming to Japan in July. It's a 90 minute show, and if you've got kids (especially BOYS), or if you like Dino's yourself... this is a GREAT way to spend an afternoon. And it starts at the YOKOHAMA Arena on July 8th thru July 11th. Here's from their website... ***************** "WALKING WITH DINOSAURS” is a live theatrical show that is performed in two acts with an intermission. The arena is laid out with a proscenium stage at one end and the entire arena floor is our performing surface. Because the dinosaurs are the size they were in real life, the only venues large enough to accommodate them are arenas. We use both live and recorded video to enhance the scenes in the show; and the cinematic scope, dramatic lighting and symphonic sound used in the performance bring the creatures into three-dimensional reality as they walk around the arena floor. A team of master puppeteers operates each of the Dinosaurs via the use of new and special technologies invented just to bring them to life. The sights, sounds and subtleties of movement will make you feel that you are looking at real dinosaurs - alive and spontaneous to everything, even the audience. During the show, you cannot actually touch the Dinosaurs, but don’t worry, the experience will be “real” and “live.” Our producer Carmen Pavlovic says, “It is the closest you’ll ever get to experiencing what it was like when they walked and ruled the earth.” ***************** Learn more about the show at: http://www.dinosaurlive.com/ You can view some of their footage at: http://www.dinosaurlive.com/funstuff/ You can get tickets, but might need a Japanese to help you out, at: http://t.pia.jp/feature/event/wwd/wwd.html These tickets will probably go fast.

Yep, 1-2-3 is where I saw it. Wife logged on immediately and got two VIP tickets. I have this lovely wife who LOVES dinosaur shows, etc... She should have been a paleontologist...

All I can is that on 1-2-3, that dude with the dino costume who came running out and scared everyone?. Yea... I want that costume to roam around Ikego on Halloween...

Must see for people of all ages. Went in VA and I would say you don't need the most expensive seat, but DON'T get the cheap seats. I learned a lot and so did my friends kid. I do wonder if the narration will be in English or Japanese....hmmmm

It still is a good show very life like, kids would like it even without the description. We took a 7 year old, I am sure if you ask him about the "story" he won't remember, ask him his favorite dinosaur and he could tell you!
