He was the smart guy in my high school senior English class. He was a hottie, but focused on his mission in life. I was the party girl who was planning my weekend on Monday. I'm 44, he's 45 and I'm MADLY in love with him.

Online. We emailed and chatted as pen pals for nearly a year before we finally met F2F. A year after that I moved to her city for a new job and we got married the following year.

I met my husband the first semester of our freshman year at the University of Nebraska. We had a pre-calculus class together. I had just graduated from high school, but he had just come from the fleet, via BOOST, so he was older and more worldly and had to wear a uniform once a week. Sigh! My friend was in a study group with him, and after I'd failed a test, she invited me to study with them (I got an A on the next test). We've been together ever since then.

We were introduced by my roommate's girlfriend 37 years ago. They split up and and she's still putting up with me.

A group of friends from the rival Highschool went to the movies with a couple of my friends, one brought their boyfriend... yeah. Butterflies and all, lol. He was 16, I was 14. Now we're in our late twenties...

Dive bar in Everett,WA. For some reason a lot of people that I graduated with would meet up at this bar and play pool, and shoot darts. It was also probably the closest bar to get to on foot near the base. This weirdo sailor kept trying to hit on me, and he was giving me the creeps. My husband interrupted to get the guy to leave me alone (he was on the same ship), and he ended up taking over where the other guy left off. I though he was really nice, but had had bad experiences with dating sailors in the past. I left with out giving him anyway to contact me. He asked some friends about me, and figured out where he could find me again, and showed up. We've now been together for almost 12 years.

my husband will never admit it but we met online -hot or not .com that is lol -- wow i don't even know where to start i met him for 2 days after four months of talking to him he was home in pa for the hoildays seeing his family and then the 2nd time of seeing him i decided to take the long plane ride to see him in oki for a month i had fun & needless to say he came back state side a month and a half later and five months later we got hitched here in Jacksonville nc

We met in a writer's chat room...and we were pen-pals for eight years! Finally, he told me he was coming to visit me in person, and I freaked out. Sure, we'd seen photos of each other, but at that point, I had fallen in love with his mind and his personality. I didn't want to lose this wonderful friendship, and I was convinced things would change.

I was right, they did change! We dated long distance, seeing each other about once every six weeks, for two years, and got married five years ago. He's my soulmate, and I'm a lucky woman!

Both my dad, granddad and his step dad were on the fire department. They were having a dinner one night and we ran into each other out side playing volley ball. I was 12 and he was 13,(6th and 8th grade) we started dating and here we are 11 years later. Been married now almost 4 years. Been each others one and only.

Ok, here goes... this is the long version.

My parents divorced when I was young, leaving me to be the oldest without any sort of guidance.

18 or so years later, I was a young E-4 in the Navy without a clue. My mom and brother wanted to move out of New York, and I got approved for the loan. So naturally, I signed on the dotted line. Yes, I contributed to the crash of the economy, unknowingly.

My mother, being the religious person she is, hired a priest to come bless the house. One day, she called his house, and his daughter picked up. My mother, being the person that she is, invited his daughter to come along. Now mind you, she's had plenty of guys thrown her way, given her dad's line of work. But never had a guy's mom invited her personally. And this intrigued her. So, she came along. Me, unknowingly, just treated it like anything else and completely ignored her. My brother (and for anyone who knows us, knows that we're like twins, only 6 years apart) went head over heels for her the second he saw her. I was completely indifferent to her. Anyways, my brother, being leaps and bounds more of a ladies' man than me, managed to score her number. One thing that she will never let me live down, is that i snatched her number out of her hand faster than my brother could blink. Anyways, she liked me because I was that "quiet, mysterious" type, meaning I didn't pay her any mind. A day or two later, my brother was talking to her on the phone, and she wouldn't leave him alone about me. She kept asking about me. So finally, he begrudgingly handed me the phone so she could talk to me. Me being me, I'm about as dense as it gets with women. Thankfully, she made it blatantly obvious that she was interested. And that was the start of it. I won't divulge details of chapter 2, but chapter 3 is gearing up.

heh, this dark haired girl shows up to our school wearing these blacked out shades during lunch. i have no idea who she is or where she came from. I few of my boys know her but I am unfamiliar. I say hi and she doesnt even notice I'm there. A few weeks later she shows up in my english class, and our teacher sits her between his desk and mine(he did it because she was so hot, he told me lol) I come to find out shes dating one of my team mates on the football team. Me and the teacher spend the next semester making fun of her current boyfriend for the next semester until one day she leaps from her desk and attacks me like a crazy person. We both get detention even though I was the victim of said attack. Then early the next year I receive a phone call from a mutual friend of ours asking me questions about what I think of her. "So what do you think of my friend Lisa?" she says. "she's cute why?" I reply. "Well you know she likes you right?", "what?!?! She likes black guys?!?! but she has a boyfriend." (Note these two dummies had me on three way the whole damn time!!!) So we talk a few times on the phone for hours, she dumps her boyfriend to become mine years later she's still putting up with my shenanigans.

We originally met at a DubKat (Long Beach Dub Allstars joined with HepKat...former members of Sublime in there) concert...45 minutes away from where I lived. I only went because my friend's band was opening, and I actually went with another guy friend of mine (we were trying to date, but I just didn't have those feelings). Anyway, I notice him from across the room, but didn't think anything of it. During the main show, I find him behind me, and the girl in front of me is dancing like a wild woman, so I keep getting knocked into him. I turn around to apologize 3 times before he actually asks me my name. Then we hang out for the rest of the show. At the end, he asks for my number, but then changes his mind and asks me to call him because he'd probably loose mine. Totally NOT my style, and I wasn't going to...but did anyway. Got the vm. He calls back. That night he goes for a walk with me on the beach, and then to bar bingo.
We hang out a couple of months (but only kiss once), and then a guy I dated comes back to town. I tell Will I'm going to go to a movie with him (that night I told the guy I think I found someone I could be serious with), so he decides to all of a sudden to not hang out with me after we spent EVERY evening together...until 5 days later when he calls to wish me a happy mother's day. He thought I got back together with this guy, and that I only thought of him as a friend (I was trying to take things slow). After that, we hung out again, and 1-1/2 months later, my son asks him flat out if he loves me (I was on the phone and overheard this). Will wispers "yes" and my son says "well, if you love her, you should marry her!" We end up actually dating seriously after that.
A year after the day we met, he hires someone to bring horses out to the beach for a sunset beach ride. I love horses, and it's the first time he's ever ridden. Then we have a picnic under a full moon on the beach. He asks me to go for a walk with him along the water (like we always did in the very beginning). All of a sudden, he bends down to pick something off the ground. "OMG! What IS this?" I have no idea what he's talking about. I try to see what he's looking at, and it's an ugly shell. I'm thinking, is this guy an idiot? They're all over the place! Then he opens it, and there's a ring inside. "WHAT IS THIS?" Stupid me has no idea. "It's a ring!" he says. I'm thinking someone lost a ring and the stupid clam ate it. Then he looks up at me and asks me to marry him. I'm thinking he's goofing around and asking me to marry him with someone else's ring. LMAO!!!
I find out later that he had spent days trying to find 2 halves of a shell that match up (even drove up to GA), ordered the diamond from a friend's family member that sells diamonds, had the ring made (the way I wanted it), and had it passed over to him from his mom at a dinner where we met up with his family (who live 4 hours away) about a week before. He even called my dad in TX to ask his permission to marry me. A year and a month later we got married.

We met in a friend barracks room in Dam Neck, VA. We were all FCs going thru C-school.

She set him up on a blind date with me a couple of weeks after we all classed up for school.

I met mine at Marilyns in Pattya number 22 was the cutest girl in the joint paid her bar fine and never brought her back.

Ok just joking as TIP is not allowed. I met mine at a office party the MLC workers always had. Everyone always invited me and when I went there was always lots of kids. So being a single Dad I decided to bring my son and the one time I did no one brought their kid. A friend intrioduced us and she seemed to really like my son, so I invited her the next day to my house for a thanksgiving  party I was having. Forgot to mention the fatc that I had a GF at the time and she was a little suprised when she saw the pictures.
Long story short dumped the old GF and married my wife almost 11 years ago now and I am sure she has regretted that day since.

I was 7years old. He walked into my house for my oldest sister's birthday party. He played sega with me all night.  I had a crush on him from the first time I set eyes on him. It took him another 10years to notice me.........
