I purchased a dog from someone who has already PCS'd  and I didn't all the paperwork on the dog and I can't get in touch witht he previous owner, what options do I have to ensure I am able to leave with the dog when my time comes to PCS?

That actually happened to us too. First thing I did was call the vet. I can't remember everything that was said(it was a few yrs ago) but they gave us a few options: register pet as abandoned, the pet would have to stay in PAWS for a few months..or they could just transfer ownership. I don't remember exactly how it was done, but if I were you I would call the vet right away and get the transfer of ownership done ASAP.
