Hey JB.com people.   Anybody watching Idol?  It's on right now.

First up was Paige Miles 24, African American chick, little on the chunky side, singing All Right Now. Simon said the song choice was wrong, Kara disagreed with Simon, Randy liked her, and Ellen gave her the green light.

Second chick was Ashley Rodriguez, real hot looking, lot of eye-liner, looks tall, Latina type, singing Happy. Her mike was too close to her mouth - you could hear it popping. Kara passed, Randy didn't like her either, Ellen agreed, and Simon capped it off with "clumsy" and "no originality."

Third lady was Janell Wheeler, blonde guitar-playing babe, classic American Girl looks, sang What About Love. Gave a country spin to the song and I think the song is too hard for her to hit the power notes. Randy didn't like song choice, Ellen liked it but said notes were off, Simon said it was okay but off-key, Kara agreed with me as the song was too big for her.

Fourth up was Lily Scott, weird looking with grey hair, can't tell if it's a wig, probably. Looks like a real "in your face" type, maybe a rocker. She sang Fixing a Hole while playing guitar. She used a capo which shows she's not a serious guitar player. Lot of power and presence and originality, best one so far IMHO. Ellen liked her, Simon agreed with me, but didn't feel the "star power," Kara gave her the green light, and Randy loved her indy artist image.

Okay, you guys are probably sick of this already and my wife needs to use the computer, so I'm outa' here. Hope you enjoyed my unsolicited coments on AD.

I enjoy the show.  Personally I think the guys are better this year than the girls.

My favorite so far this year is Andrew Garcia. He is already a Youtube star, having some of his videos approaching 1 million views.

Anyhow, if you dont want to be 1 or 2 weeks behind from JCOM's slow updating, try watching it from this website.

They have all the shows and they are VERY VERY quick to post and update their website.  I watch it from here each week.

They have advertisements so they are probably making a cool $2000 a week (im sure) from ad's alone, but who cares..  They are the only place you can see things, and the buffer times are great.  It takes a few seconds to load, but I have checked their security and did a scan. No viruses, so its safe..

American Idol 2010 Running Conversation

I like the tall blond girl with the guitar and the other with guitar and Harmonica. Getting ready to watch and listen to the guys now.

The girls were TERRIBLE last night. If I have time, I will try to watch the guys.. Did anyone watch it yet?

I usually give up watching American Idol by this point, but I watched the girls last night. I didn't think any of them were all that great either. Got the boys recorded. Not sure if I will watch them or not.....already starting to lose interest.

I understand your points, and I do agree to a point.. I think this year the women are terrible I am not interested in any of them. Andrew Garcia, or Jermaine Sellers I like for the guys. There is also another guy (I forget his name) but he is a dancer.. He seemed pretty good.

So I watched the last weeks show. Ouch! People are becoming terrible. Jermaine Sellers, one of the early favorites for me is gone! I am not much of a fan of church music, but he could sing! I dont think he was American Idol material. They are looking for a pop-star. Andrew Garcia my other favorite did bad this past week. He is a You Tube star. Has a very big audience. He needs to just continue to stand out. I think in the next few weeks he will have his moment, and he will shine once again. I dont like any of the girls this year.

I watched the top 12 boys last week, too and I wasn't really impressed with them either. There were a couple of them that I thought were good, but I thought most of them were just as bad as the girls.

I am very disappointed with this years American Idol..

I dont know what it is.. I havent really had much time to watch the whole episode the past 2 weeks, but still I caught some clips on youtube from my favorites and they are pretty bad..

This year just sucks...

I wish these guys would of tried out.. Even if they did individually.. I think they are very good..
