All applicants must first have in their possession a valid USFJ Form 4 (SOFA Driver’s License).

All courses are free of charge.

Contact Mr. Douglas Knight at Cape Fox Professional Services (CFPS) at dknight@capefoxit.com to sign up for these courses, or sign up directly at     http://www.capefoxit.com/Public/TSRODS.aspx

CFPS centrally manages and directs the administration of this program. More than 120 trainers have been deployed to Navy and Marine Corps installations worldwide, including major hubs in California, Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia, as well as at various overseas locations in Spain, Italy, Bahrain, Japan, Singapore, Greece, and Korea. 58,343 Navy Sailors and 9,127 Marines have been successfully trained since the programs start in September 2008.

Totally agree.  I took these courses several years ago, then became a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) instructor.  Motorcycle riding will always be a high risk activity, so take the course - it's fun and free!!!

There was an article in the Base Paper about the Safety course I inquired as to what the requirements were to get qualified and become an instructor I never recieved an answer. I have taken the course at North Dock, it is a good fun course and the facilitators are knowledgeable and professional, I have taken safety courses in Yokosuka, Sasebo and Bremerton going back to the late 70's, this was by far the best and I plan on taking it again soon. Not because of the new three year ruling, but because I enjoyed it and skill improvement is always useful. The only shortcoming is the location.

You may not get a response because this service is contracted out, possibly Navy wide.

However they should reply to your inquiry for customer service.

Enjoy the course, ride safely, keep the bugs out of your teeth, hehe.
