My husband and I will soon be relocating to Okinawa Japan and I was wondering if anyone had any good advice, housing info, pictures of housing inside and out, we will not be living in a tower due to a pet. We have gotten our pet Jack all ready for the trip including his FAVN. Also what is there to do for fun. Are there baby friendly activities as my husband and I will be expecting shortly after we arrive? Are you able to get a good selection of baby items? Can't speak to the housing situation since I live off base! There are a lot of sightseeing locations that are child/baby friendly all over the island. MCCS and Kadena services both run tours to various locations, some regularly, some seasonally. these are a good way to check out new places and work out how to get there if find a favourite place! We don't have kids, so I'm not sure about the selection of baby items, they do have cribs and strollers etc. as well as clothes bottles and all the everyday stuff! Depends on what you want really. If you have your heart set on a particular stroller you might need to mail order from the States.....
