My memory is sketchy, but does anyone know any OTHER good restaurants in Yokosuka? I remember the Daiei Shopping Plaza having a noodle restaurant and an american restaurant where they served fried chicken and (i think) burgers across from the noodle restaurant that was in the same floor as the grocery level. But this was back in 1994, the last time i was there. Any other restaurants i should be aware besides those places? Buffets/All-you-can-eats? Korean BBQ?? Recommendations??

You need to check out the Korean BBQ place in mores city on the 9th floor, on weekdays after 4pm you can get the all you can eat and drink meal for 4500 yen. CoCo's is all ways good. Thats located accross the street from the daiei mall love that chicken cutlet with cheese and garlic. Burger king is great oh and the beef bowl place on blue street. Pepper Lunch is a must too.

Gonna' check out the new Indian Restaurant near the Honch tonight. I'll give an update here. I have to eat veggie nowadays because of my imposed diet, so that'll be interesting.

There's a really good Chinese / Japanese restaurant near Yokosuka Chuo Station. Take blue street all the way to the end. You'll have to cross the street using the crosswalk or overpass. It has a bunch of plastic food in the window so you can easily decide what you want. Also, there are pictures of every item on the menu.

They have ramen, a pork & vegetable dish, karaage (Japanese fried chicken) & gyoza, fried rice, and cheap beer. E/thing there is dirt cheap. Most meals average around 500Y. Ramen is between 400Y to 530Y (unless you get a set). The food is really good! I like pretty much anything on the menu. I'm always surprised that I don't see as many gaijins in there considering how cheap and how good the food is! Maybe people just don't know it's there or don't make it that far on Blue Street. It's worth checking out if you have never been there!

MIKES is some good food, there is a Indian curry restaurant on blue street before you get to Mikisa mall that's great starts with a N and don't remember the name. Also TGIF is good, the Japanese place above TGIF is also good as well. Also as previously stated Co Co's is always good. Hell KFC is got some good as chicken over here, and any of the restaurants next to McDonalds across for the chuo station is good.

Yakiniku: (Korean BBQ) at Han Il Kwan, across the street and down from the Hotel New Yokosuka.
Shorien near Misaki Guchi station on KHK line (last stop). Exit the station and proceed left up Rt 134 for approx. 100 meters. Yellow Yakinikku sign on the left just before the Family Mart. No English anything but great food. A favorite of mine for over 25 years.
