What I think this could mean is : Are there any exceptions to the new on base housing rule?

The answer is yes and no. I have beening hearing that in the event that a person already living on base expands their family. More specificly gets pregnant with another child and housing can not find them a new house quick enuff.......that yes they are allowed to live off base. This is only on the Air Force side of things. I know the rule in the Air Force is each child to his or her own room .
 Where as the other services might say two childern to a room. And even childern of the opposite sex may share a room til age 4 I think it is.

 Now I assume that if housing can not be found for you on base in a set of amount of time, they can offer to move you off base. But I have also been hearing that if you continue to refuse" X "amount of housing that the housing office will just assign you housing. "X" meaning a certin number . Im unsure of this number. Thats about all I can offer.
