    - I love how safe it is

    - I love how I see the Japanese children going to school in the morning, and they are so little, but the parents still believe Japan is safe enough to let them go by themselves. Some kids seem to be under 5 walking on their own, or holding another 5 year old's hand walking together. Its so awesome to see.

    - I love how polite people are when you go into a store and buy something. You would never get that type of customer service in the USA.

    - The food is amazing. SUSHI, SUSHI, SUSHI.. I love it all..

    - I love the parks, cherry blossom season, and the beaches..

    - I love the culture. I honestly feel there is no other place like Japan, and everyone that has the opportunity to visit let alone lives here for a period of time can say that about this place. If you have never been, I definitely recommend it..

** I am sure I will have more, but I will let some others put their comments down as well **

Being able to pick-up the phone and order Ramen, Sushi, Soba etc and have it delivered to your front door. They even come back later for the plates (no styrofoam or plastic).

Driving and not having to worry about someone trying to cause an accident for the insurance scam. Knowing that most drivers can merge to pass the cars parked on the curb, and not stop traffic.

Today was a first. Following a car through a left turn, and the other driver went to the right lane. What made it a first, was the plate did NOT have a Y.

I miss dealing with Japanese businesses. Whenever I bought something, I was confident that it would be of excellent quality. If delivery was needed, that would happen ontime and be accomplished by polite and efficient workers who would take care not to trash you house. If an issue later developed, you could just give them a call (to an actual person in the store where you made a purchase) and it would be quickly resolved to your satisfaction. I got spoiled being used to this in Japan. Alas, such is not the case here stateside.

When someone cuts you off in traffic they either put on their hazards or bow! ( That will never be seen in the states!)

The produce here. The strawberries are to DIE for!

A lot of other things have already been said!:)

Tonkatsu, fresh uni, Yokohama, Asakusa, being greeted when walking in/out a store, the look of total surprise and wonderment when I offer my seat on the train to "obachan", etc...
