Posted By Alejandra on 02 Mar 2010 12:00 PM I actually had my hair done at Kenji and Im sorry but it was HORRIBLE, I myself am a Hairdresser and heard so many great things about this place, she OVER layerd my hair Japanese style, all choppy and thined it out so now it looks sgraggly, she did NOT know how to work with my hair ( i have that course mexican hair) and just put globs of aveda straightning product on my hair DRY!!! (Apply before blow dry) Augh I looked worse coming out then I did walking in. Not worth $70.00.
Not sure how many of you ladies have found it already (I don't walk around Blue St. much, lol), but N's Nail is right down that little street behind Ringer Hut, before you hit Mikasa. Two wonderful ladies who do a full set for 6000 Yen! It's the best service I've had since I've been here, exactly what I wanted for CHEAPER than what I was used to paying back home (normally $80). Both of them also have very pretty and impressive nail art designs, for those of you who can wear those. I have their card in my purse and I'll post the # if any of you are interested. They were so sweet and deserve a growing customer base.
