I was wondering how a spouse can receive/apply for help with a college education, especially taking classes online? Is there a program available and are there a lot of choices of what classes can be taken and a limit on how much a spouse can receive for a course? I am looking to take a TEFL and a Child Care Course! Any help/advice would be appreciated....

If the question is about financial aid, NMCRS provides limited scholarship, I think around $400 - enough money for textbooks. Yokosuka Officers Club also provides limited scholarship. MyCAA is a DOD-sponsored grant up to $6000 a year for military spouses. Pell Grant is another. As far as selecting courses and getting started with online schooling, ... Flexible, 100% PhD faculty, and discounted tuition fees. My wife (active duty) attends Coastline Community College. On-base colleges such as Central Texas College, UMUC Asia and Univ of Phoenix also offer online courses. Lastly, the Navy College Office will be an expert resource on all of these and more.
